These days the majority of our sites will be built around a highly cusotomised version of the WordPress blogging platform – that’s because it gives great results in Google – and that’s often a major requirement for our customers. After all, it’s no good having a fancy design is if no one can you!
Our structured approach means that each site we create will have many of the same basic elements, elements that are essential to online success.
For example:
- We always employ a simple drop down menu system that is easy for the surfer to understand and quickly indexable by Google.
- We rarely use Flash or graphic animations – these slow download times and are not very Google friendly.
- Forms are normally placed on every page – giving surfers the most opportunity to sign up
- Wherever possible we try to get a clients contact details on every page
- Huge chunks of text are avoided wherever possible – Surfers get fed up very quickly so it’s better to break things into topics and sub pages rather than have long, long scrolling pages.
- Images and video are usually found in the same position on every page, not scattered all over or breaking up text – this makes it easier for surfers to get used to the layout quickly. They feel comfortable and can find what they want quickly.
- No Page Limits – We build the site to the size that fits the content, our fixed price covers you for as many pages as your project needs to work properly
