We’ve been providing Internet solutions for more than 15 years now. At the outset of the ‘Information Revolution’ everyone though that the most important thing was how a site looked, so pretty much everything was design driven. Then folks realised, they were paying for something that looked nice, but didn’t actually contribute to the bottom line – enter functionality!
The ideal situation of course is a blend of attractive design, easy to use navigation and strong functionality – The site has to contribute, it has to be a part of the overall marketing plan – whether it provides leads prior to the sale, conducts the sale online or provides after sales information and service, it has to justify it’s existence.
