As the premier supplier of specialist grass seeds nationwide, Hurrells wanted their site to perform two separate funtions.
Firstly a front end was needed that would rank well in Google and produce a steady stream of enquiries by phone and email – to be converted by their dedicated sales team in Driffield.
Secondly the requirement to sell directly online needed to be fulfilled.
A modified and customised version of OScommerce was used to power the shopping cart – providing a secure, stable and reliable platform for shoppers – whilst WordPress was deployed for other site areas – allowing lots of space for client content and great opportunities to tweak the code for Search Engine visibility.
